Professor Khalid Hafeez is a strategic thinker and implementer, possessing over 30 years of teaching, research, industry, knowledge transfer and management experience at various top universities in the UK and Middle East. After obtaining his Gold Medal from the University of Balochistan Quetta, he was the first Pakistani to receive his PhD in AI and Robotics from Cardiff University of Wales UK. He served as the Program leader for MEng. Program, Director of MBA and the world first ever ‘MSc in Knowledge Management’ at the Sheffield Hallam University UK. He was the founding Director for Centre for Innovation at the Bradford University UK. Thereupon, he was appointed as the Professor of Operations Systems & Entrepreneurship and Director of External Relations at the University of York UK, when it was recognized among the top 100 research universitiesin the world ranking. He also served as the Head of Management School at the Abertay University in Dundee Scotland, Dean of Smart University Dubai and the Founding Dean of the Claude Littner Business School, University of West London. His other appointments include Professor of Digital Transformation and Dean of Enterprise and Commercialization at the De Montfort University Leicester UK.

Professor Hafeez is certified by the Harvard Business School USA for his Executive Leadership training, and was trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Art (LIPA) UK for delivering entrepreneurial leadership training using drama pedagogy. He is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Certified SSMBB), Certified Project Manager and Certified Lean System and Process Manager from Herington Institute USA, Certified European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM European) Assessor and Certified Neurolinguistic Language Programmer (NLP) from UK. He has led many UK, European and HEC- Pakistan research and commercialization projects, developed flexible, on-line and apprenticeship programmes and international partnerships. He has frequently delivered key notes and training programs in Pakistan, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, Philippines, US, Turkey, Australia and Middle East. He has supervised over 25 PhD students, published two books and over 100 research papers in the disciplines of engineering, AI, economics and entrepreneurship in the top international journals. He is world renown researcher with over 3500 international citations to his research work with h- Index of 26 and i-10 of 44. He is a recipient of ‘Exemplary Leader’ award from the Asian Leadership Academy UAE and the recipient of ‘Certificate of Merit’ from the House of Lord UK in recognition of his services to education, industry and community.
